A misguided reaction to foreign substances by the immune system, the body system of defense against foreign invaders, particularly pathogens (the agents of infection). The allergic reaction is misguided in that these foreign substances are usually harmless. The substances that trigger allergy are called allergens. Asthma is a condition in which your airways narrow and swell and produce extra mucus. This can make breathing difficult and trigger coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath.

Journal of Allergy and Asthma Reports is an open access, peer reviewed, scholarly journal which accepts to publish quality Editorials, short communications, case reports, clinical images and letters to the editor etc., covering all the all the aspects of Allergy and Asthma.
