Review Process

All the manuscripts undergo rapid peer review process by the editorial board members of the journal or outside experts in the particular field. At least three members will be reviewing each manuscript and accepted by two.

Research Manuscript:

Number of words in a research manuscript should not exceed 5000 words and there is no limit for figures, number of pages, tables, figures and references.

Review Manuscript:

Number of words in a review manuscript should not exceed 5000 words and there is no limit for figures, number of pages, tables, figures and references.

Mini Review Manuscript:

Number of words in a mini review manuscript should not exceed 2000 words and there is no limit for figures, number of pages, tables, figures and references.

Short Communication:

Number of words in a short communication should not exceed 2000 words and there is no limit for figures, number of pages, tables, figures and references.

Case Report:

Number of words in a case report should not exceed 1500 words and there is no limit for figures, number of pages, tables, figures and references.

Editorial:

Number of words in editorial should not exceed 1500 words and there is no limit for figures, number of pages, tables, figures and references.

Clinical Images:

Number of words in a clinical image should not exceed 200 words with only 2 images as limit.

Letter to Editor:

Number of words in a letter to editor should not exceed 1000 words.

  • Corresponding author: Times New Roman, 10 Normal, and Justified
  • Headings: Times New Roman, 11 Bold, and Left-Right Alignment
  • Subheadings or Sub-sub headings: Times New Roman, 10 Bold, and Left-Right Alignment
  • Spacing: Indentation after/before: 0; Spacing after/before: 0, 1.5 line Spacing

Manuscript title should be brief enough which explains the exact information in the content.

Word limit for Abstract should be 250 - 300 words which explains the theme of the content.

A manuscript can contain nearly 6-7 keywords.

Abbreviations

Abbreviations which are used in the content should be mentioned.

Text

Text should follow the format mentioned above.

Figures and Tables

There is no limit for the tables and figures and they can be as per the required content.

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

Manuscript Withdrawal Charges If the author requests withdrawal of the manuscript within 48 hours, the author(s) will not have to pay any withdrawal penalty. If the requests of withdrawal after 48 hours or after the manuscript is assigned for the pre-review process or during the assembly stage or published within the platform; then the author(s) have to pay a withdrawal penalty without fail. Corresponding author(s) are requested to submit a formal letter regarding withdrawal of the manuscript at the Inquest Editorial Office. The withdrawal of manuscripts is handiest finished after the complete quantity of withdrawal penalty has been paid. The withdrawal costs will be declared as applicable, handiest in case of withdrawal.
